One of the Beaumont Art League’s most fascinating annual shows is this weekend and we never miss it.
A Beautiful Mind features more than 90 works from Southeast Texans suffering from mental illness. Artwork on display will also be on sale and last year, local artists made $1,000 from the sale of their $10 pieces. Proceeds pay for art supplies for Nick Nides Self Help Haven, located on the campus of the Spindletop Center.
Come buy some inexpensive locally made art for a good cause and dig on some free wine and cheese while you’re there. And check out this gallery of last year’s work.
